Discover the body’s natural tremor for release, regulation, and resilience.
Our bodies are wise. Built into us is a natural shaking response — called the neurogenic tremor — that helps us discharge stress and restore balance. Animals do it instinctively after threat or tension. Humans do too, but most of us have learned to suppress it.
I guide people in reconnecting with this tremor mechanism — a gentle, innate process that can release stress, support healing, and bring us back into regulation.
This isn’t about striving or fixing. It’s about allowing your body to do what it already knows how to do: shake, reset, and remember ease.

Hi, I’m Sarah
My journey into body-based wellness began in my own struggle. For years, I lived with persistent pain — specifically bilateral Achilles tendonitis. Walking was difficult, running was impossible, and the activities I loved most slipped out of reach.
I went to school for physiotherapy hoping I could fix my body so coming from a physiotherapy lens, I threw everything I had at the problem: rehab protocols, strengthening routines, careful exercises, orthotics. No matter how disciplined I was, nothing shifted. The pain remained, and I felt stuck inside a body I couldn’t trust.
Then someone introduced me to the body’s natural tremor. My first experience was profound — it felt like my body exhaled for the first time in years. The tremor gave me access to something deeper, beyond anything I could achieve with exercises alone. Slowly, movement returned, and with it, a sense of coming home to myself.
That moment shaped my path. It showed me that our bodies not only carry stress and pain — they also hold the wisdom to resolve it. Today, my passion is not a technique, but the tremor itself: this universal human response that can bring us back to balance.
I live on the West Coast of Canada, where the ocean and forest continually remind me of the body’s natural rhythms. My work is grounded in warmth, authenticity, and curiosity. Whether in group sessions, one-to-one, or teaching weekend Modules or mentoring providers in training, my focus is always on helping people feel more at home in themselves.

What is the Neurogenic Tremor?
The neurogenic tremor is a natural shaking response built into the human body. It is how the body naturally releases stress and tension.
You may have seen it in animals: a dog shakes after being startled, a deer trembles after a chase. This shaking is the body’s way of returning to calm. Humans have the same mechanism, but many of us unconsciously suppress it.
When safely reactivated, the tremor can:
- Deepen connection with the body
- Release muscle tension and stored stress
- Down-regulate the nervous system
- Support recovery from pain, trauma, or overwhelm
- Improve sleep, relaxation, and resilience
What exactly is TRE® and how does it fit in?
TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) was developed by Dr. David Berceli, as a structured method to access the neurogenic tremor. TRE was my personal doorway into discovering this resource, and I’m certified in guiding it.
I think the method is really neat in how it allows you access to the tremor. The healing happens through the tremor itself, which is universal, human, and already inside you.

Why I’m Passionate About the Tremor
For me, the tremor isn’t just a technique — it’s a birthright.
It helped me out of years of pain when nothing else was working. It allowed me to access a deeper layer of healing that gave space for the other tools I knew — physio, exercise, recovery — to finally take root.
Over time, I’ve seen the tremor do the same for others. People arrive carrying stress, pain, or overwhelm, and leave with more ease, spaciousness, and trust in their own bodies. There’s a quiet empowerment that happens when you realize your body already holds the map for healing.
That’s why I share this work. Because the tremor is not something I “give” you — it’s something your body already knows how to do. My role is simply to help you reconnect with it.

Disconnection from the Body
The experience: Feeling numb, persistent experiences of pain and/or physical tension or feeling stuck in the head; difficulty sensing needs like hunger or rest; life feels like it’s lived on autopilot.
How it shows up: Trouble relaxing, feeling disconnected, struggling to notice or trust signals from the body.
How I help: I guide people back into presence with their body — rebuilding safety and awareness through tremor practice and other somatic tools, helping them come home to themselves.
Nervous System Dysregulation
The experience: Overwhelm, anxiety, or freeze states that don’t shift even with rest or talk therapy.
How it shows up: Chronic tension, poor sleep, digestive issues, emotional reactivity, burnout.
How I help: I teach nervous system literacy and body-based practices that move people out of survival mode and into regulation, resilience, and choice.
Longing for Resilience & Authentic Connection
The experience: Feeling worn down by stress, disconnected from joy, or unable to feel strong and authentic in daily life.
How it shows up: Difficulty in relationships, struggling to trust the body, or doubting that healing is possible.
How I help: I support people in building resilience and self-trust, so they can reconnect to joy, strength, and authenticity — and show up in life as their true selves.

Group Introductions & Workshops
The best starting point. Learn the foundations of the tremor response, experience guided practice in community, and take home tools you can continue on your own.

For those already familiar with tremoring, these sessions offer a consistent space to deepen your practice, co-regulate with others, and build resilience over time.

Available online or in person if you prefer a private space. These sessions are tailored to your individual needs and pace.
Module 1 Training
For those curious about learning tremor both personally and with the possibility of guiding others, I offer Module 1 Training. This is the entry point for provider certification — but also an incredible stand-alone immersion for personal growth.
